Create & Craft Demo: Dazzles

Here are a few more ideas for today…these are using the Dazzles Two-Pack, which included the Swirls, Flourishes & Borders and Enchanted Moments stickers. They’re designed for scrapbooking but of course they can be used for so much more!

Naturally you can use them as stickers, but they have a lot of potential as masks too. They’re sticky, but not so sticky that they can’t be peeled off the paper after you use them for masks. Just tap them down onto your paper, but don’t press them really hard.

Use a border sticker as a mask: It's placed onto white paper and stippled with Pine Needles Distress ink.

Another mask idea: Place the Dazzle on paper, then spray with Glimmer Mist (or other spray color). Remove the sticker to reveal the design...or, remove the sticker, then place it back on the sprayed paper (after it's dry), slightly offsetting it from the masked image for a shadow effect.

You can also stack and layer some of the images with foam tape, as with this bird. I put the big portion of the bird body on white paper and trimmed around the outside edge, then put the “innie” of the bird on foam tape and reattached it so the bird is dimensional.

The bird sticker—it's two pieces, an outline and an "innie".

The "innie" is re-attached with foam tape.

The card is really small, I punched a circle in the front and put the little bird inside.

The stacked bird is inside the card, showing through a circle-punched window.

I think it’s really fun to play with the creative possibilities of these stickers, hope you enjoyed the demo pieces!
