We spent last weekend in Copenhagen…so of course this week’s photo is of the little mermaid. Have you read the story recently? The original? Quite a tale and one that I think is interesting to study from an adult (female) perspective, especially if you read it as a child and didn’t quite grasp the implications of giving up one’s voice and mobility for a boy. Food for thought!
