Whenever I travel, I like to take photos of windows. In fact, along with street art, windows and doors are one of my favorite things to photograph. (Even though I’m always a little afraid someone will pop out of the door or window and ask me what the heck I’m doing taking a picture of their house. But anyway.)
This lovely balcony window is in Valencia, in Spain. I’d never seen so many orange trees in a city environment!
Now that the weather here in Amsterdam is definitely moving into fall, I love to look at this picture and remember how warm it was, and the smell of oranges.
