{Project} Wednesday: Celebrate Card with Infusions & Couture

Happy Wednesday! Today I’m still playing with the PaperArtsy Infusions (*swoon*) and thought I’d pop together a quick card with an easy background. I’m also working with Couture cutting dies…and YES!—next week we’ll have new releases! (But the By Invitation Only is still one of my favorites because it’s so versatile.)

Remember: An easy way to apply Infusions is to use an awl (or a poky tool) to poke a hole in the metal cap (it’s thin metal and easy to puncture) then sprinkle them on your cardstock. Put a piece of tape on top of the cap to keep the powder inside.

Celebrate Card with Infusions & Couture, what you need—

Celebrate Card with Infusions & Couture, how to make it—

Place the white cardstock on a craft sheet or other protective surface. Sprinkle with all three Infusion colors, tapping a tiny bit of the color into different areas of the surface. (A little goes a LONG way!)

Lightly mist once with water. Allow the crystals to react, then add a bit of water in other areas if desired. Let dry, then glue to the front of a square card blank.

Position the large scallop die on the card blank with one edge overlapping the fold of the card. Run through the die cutting machine to create a shaped card.

Mat a narrow strip of white card onto green and glue to the left side of the card front.  Trim the edges even with the top and bottom of the card.

Die cut “let’s celebrate” from white and mount on a pink label die cut. Attach to the card front with foam tape. Add a bow and embellishments as shown.

Enjoy! Happy Wednesday!
