ICE resin earrings

Creating stamped earrings is super easy—and many of my fellow papercrafters will appreciate the ability to preserve hand-stamped images or special backgrounds. Just grab a circle punch, some sealer and some resin!

Stamped Resin Earrings, what you need—

  • ICE Resin® two-part epoxy (includes cup and stir stick)
  • Disposable gloves
  • Baby wipes
  • Mod Podge or other clear sealer
  • Teal acrylic paint
  • White cardstock
  • 2 round silver bezels with loops—20mm (inner dimensions)
  • 2 silver jump rings—5mm
  • 2 silver ear wires
  • 3/4” circle punch
  • Alphabet stamp (Ranger)
  • Acrylic block
  • Black inkpad
  • Mini brayer
  • Plastic palette
  • Chain nose pliers

Stamped Resin Earrings, how to make them—
1.  Apply a bit of acrylic paint onto a plastic palette. Use the brayer to spread the paint, then to roll the paint onto the white cardstock. Let dry.

2. Use black ink to stamp the alphabet design onto the brayered cardstock. Coat with sealer, then punch into two circles and glue one inside each bezel.

3. Place the bezels onto a raised, flat surface with the loops hanging over the edge. Mix the resin, then pour into the bezels. Let cure.

4. Use the pliers to open a jump ring. Slip on the bezel and an ear wire. Close the jump ring. Repeat for the second earring.
