Acrylic block

Spectrum Aqua Markers Card, how to do it—

  1. Scribble Scarlet Aqua Marker on the acrylic block. Spritz with water, then brayer the watery ink across a 5 x 7″ piece of white matte cardstock. Leave some areas white.
  2. Repeat to brayer with Orange Aqua Marker. Let dry, then cut to 4 3/8″ wide.
  3. Mat the top and bottom of the brayered piece with black, gray and white cardstock.
  4. Make a 5 x 6 1/2″ card from white cardstock. Cover the card front with black cardstock. Glue the brayered piece in the center and trim the edges evenly.
  5. Cut a 3/8″-wide strip of gray cardstock. Mat the long edges on pink, then white. Glue across the card front.
  6. Die-cut “happy birthday” from black cardstock and glue to the card front.
  7. Add silver border stickers at the top and bottom.
  8. Add silver circle stickers in each corner of the card and three circle stickers along the gray strip. Tie a bow in silver metallic cord and glue as shown.

Easy-peasy! And a great way to get marker color onto your paper in a different way!

Back next week with another card project…and next month with new Studio SN videos!
