Welcome to Washi Tape Tuesday! Love washi tape? (Or maybe you have a stash that you want to put to use?) Then join me for tips, techniques and ideas for adding washi tape to your handmade cards! 

This card is a quick and easy design. It’s also a smaller card format (3 3/4″ x 5 3/4″)—perfect for a petite greeting, thank-you or just because card.

Washi Tape Typewriter Card, what you need—

Black with Small White Polka Dots, Measuring Tape Blue: Little B

You’re My Type stamp set: Hot Off The Press/Paper Wishes

Spectrum Noir alcohol ink pens in TB3 and BT2: Crafter’s Companion

– Spray bottle of rubbing alcohol

– Black and white baker’s twine

– White, black cardstock

Jet Black Archival ink: Ranger

Washi Tape Typewriter Card, how to make it—

1.Stamp the typewriter with black ink, then color the typewriter with BT2 pen. Add darker accents on the typewriter with TB3. Add scribbled shadow underneath and to the side of the typewriter with TB3. Spritz with rubbing alcohol to let the color blur.

2. Stamp the sentiment to the left side.

3. Apply strips of decorative tape as shown. Mat with black card, then wrap with baker’s twine. Glue to the card front.
