Clean & Simple Floral Thank You Card

Hi friends! Today I have a super-simple stamped card project to share with you, featuring the Altenew Charming Doodles stamp and die collection—paired with dye inks and some alcohol markers.

For this card, I stamped the various elements with Obsidian Black pigment ink, which is one of my *favorite* black inkpads. I used the layering stamps from the set to stamp the flowers with Honey Drizzle, Citrus Burst and Coral Bliss. The leaves were layer-stamped with Sweet Leaf.

Then, I used Artist Markers to accent the layer-stamped leaves, using Forest Glade marker—I used that to trace the outline of the larger leaf element too. I accented parts of the Coral Bliss flower with Coral Berry pen, and Ruby Red pen for the flower centers. These markers come in small sets, but also all together with other colors in the Artist Markers Set A.

Then, die cut everything and adhere them to a plain white piece of card. I use foam tape for some of the elements to create some dimension.

I added the “forever grateful” sentiment stamped in black, with foam tape. This not only delivers the card message, but “plants” the flowers visually, too. A few sequins give sparkle and more dimension to the design, and a bow made of twine gives a contrasting rustic look.

For this card plus more, you can pop over to the Altenew You Tube channel to watch the Charming Doodles live session from last week—I show this card plus a couple of other stenciled and embossed designs.

Happy Tuesday!
