Kaleidoscope Greetings With 49 and Market

Hi friends! Today I’m happy to share some bright, colorful cards that are easy to make and sure to bring a lot of cheer to the recipient!

I’m using a combination of 49 and Market’s Kaleidoscope paper collection, rub-ons, acetate embellishments and laser cuts. I’m also using gold glitter cardstock from Hot Off The Press, which I think brings a nice contrast in color and adds a fun bit of sparkle too.

Here’s a listing of the supplies I used—

The assembly of the cards is super-simple!

For this card, I covered my card front with gold glitter cardstock. I love this stuff because you can cut it or die cut it and it won’t shed glitter all over the place! Then, I trimmed down the botanical collage paper slightly smaller than my card front, inked the edges with gold and glued it in the center.

The “congrats” message is a Dazzle sticker, added to a white cardstock banner cut from the 8 Labels die set. This is attached with foam tape, as are the two butterflies and the bird laser cut.

For this card focal, I die-cut a piece of pink patterned acetate into a rectangle, then layered it onto a white, then a gold glitter rectangle piece. The hummingbird is a rub-on, and the foliage accents are laser cuts. “Sending Smiles” is a Dazzle sticker!

Layers attached with foam tape help give more dimension to the design.

For this card, I’ve let the image on the patterned paper—the bird and the flower—be the focal, simply accenting it with the laser cut green ticket and bird in the bottom right corner, an acetate butterfly, and the “miss you” Dazzle sentiment.

The focal is another layering of matted rectangles, with gold and this gorgeous combination of text paper and green cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed these bright and cheerful cards!

Until next time—happy crafting!
