{Project} Wednesday: Magical Adventure Photo Folder with Echo Park

Happy Wednesday!

Today I wanted to show you a fun and colorful photo folder. I love using cardmaking papers and embellishments for gift and stationery items—and I think this fun little folder would be great for holding your own photos and memorabilia (maybe from a trip to the Magic Kingdoms?) as well as gifting someone with printed photo memories of an event. Yes, real printed photos…you know, the old-fashioned kind! 🙂

Echo Park Magical Adventure photo holder Sara Naumann

Magical Adventure Photo Folder, what you need—

– Kraft folder with wrap-around elastic (mine is 7″x9″ and I got it at a local stationery shop)

– Patterned cardstock, solid cardstock, cut out sheet, stickers: Echo Park Magical Adventure Paper Collection

– Red check ribbon

Magical Adventure Photo Folder, how to make it—

1. Cut a 5 3/4″ x 7″ piece of camera-patterned cardstock. Mat on cream, then black cardstock. Mat again on red cardstock, leaving a 1″ border at the bottom. Add a flower sticker border.

2. Glue the piece to the front of the folder.

3. Trim the “everyone say cheese” cut out and mat on blue, white and black cardstock. Secure the elastic strap around the folder front to determine the placement of the matted focal. Glue the focal to the folder front, toward the left side.

4. Tie a bow in red check ribbon and glue to the folder front. Apply the “big smiles” sticker to black cardstock. Trim, then glue as shown.

So easy! And you can easily adapt this to whatever size folder you happen to find.

Note: I originally showed this collection on Create and Craft television in the US. For more great shows and demos, please tune in by watching it live on TV or online.
