Mixed Media the Paper Wishes Way: Glue Stick Foiling

Hi friends! Have you heard about the latest Webisode series from Paper Wishes? It’s called Mixed Media the Paper Wishes Way, hosted by yours truly. In this series, we explore mixed media, breaking down various techniques and making them simple and accessible. Whether you’re new to mixed media, curious about it, or just want some new tricks to try out with papers, embellishments, stamping, inking, polishes, foils and more, then please do join me!

One of the foil-technique projects from this week’s Mixed Media the Paper Wishes Way Webisode series.

This week we released the second in our series, building on the foiling techniques we learned in the first segment. (But don’t worry, you don’t have to watch them in order!) This week, we’re using the humble glue stick to get cool no-heat foiled edging. This is a technique I taught at the Creativation trade show earlier this year, and lots of my retailer students (and fellow teachers) were surprised it could work… and so quickly!

So, grab a tea or drink of your choice, and give yourself 15 minutes to check out the techniques in this week’s video… then have a go and let me know how you get on! I hope you enjoy this new series!
