{Project} Wednesday: Bo Bunny Winter Wishes Sticky Note Holder

I love office and stationery supplies, and I love the idea of dressing up plain items with lovely patterned paper to create gifts.

Bo Bunny ScorPal sticky note holder

Last month, I was on Create and Craft with ScorPal, the scoring board, and Bo Bunny. I’ve used the beautiful Winter Wishes paper collection to create a wrap-around cover for a pad of sticky notes…this makes a cute gift for an office colleague or student headed back to class after winter holidays. It’s easy to make, even more so with the ScorPal!

Here’s what it looks like when you pull off the twine and open it up–

Note: My sticky note pad was 3″ square and 1/4″ thick, which is how I measured and cut my patterned paper. You can easily amend these measurements to accommodate paper pads of different thicknesses and sizes.

  1. Cut a strip of patterned paper that’s 3″ x7″. Place the 7″ side along the top of the scoring board and score at 2″, 2 1/4″, 5 1/4″ and 5 1/2″. Crease on the score lines.
  2. Use a blue inkpad to edge the piece, inking along the score lines as well.
  3. Use double-sided adhesive to secure a sticky note pad in the center, then fold up the bottom flap and fold down the top flap.
  4. Mat the Winter Joy sticker on gray cardstock and trim around the edges, the foam-tape to the front top flap. Wrap with twine to secure.

Quick, easy and fun! What could be better for the holidays?

I originally showed this collection on Create and Craft television in the US. For more great shows and demos, please tune in by watching it live on TV or online.
