{Project} Wednesday: Christmas Angel with Creative Expressions

Hi friends! This week I’m happy to bring you a video from my monthly Paper Wishes Webisode… this time, it’s die-cutting with Creative Expressions Christmas dies, to make simple and festive Christmas cards.

While the video shares 5 different cards, I thought I’d spotlight just one of them this week. It’s featuring the Festive Collection Christmas Angel die, which makes for a really elegant focal on a card—and I think it would make a pretty ornament or table decoration as well.

Here’s how to make it—
Create the background of the card with the Stardust Background Craft Die, layering it onto black card. Create the sentiment by die-cutting the Thinking of You at Christmas Craft Die from Metallic Gold Paper, then combine it with the frame from the Denise Craft Die.

The Festive Collection Christmas Angel is die cut from White Cardstock, layered onto kraft. The wings have been die cut twice from white cardstock, then the angel accessories are cut from gold. Layer the elements on foam tape for extra dimension.

Finally, the bow is from the Ivory Ribbon Set.
