{Project} Wednesday: Christmas Cards with Opal Polish

Today on Studio SN on You Tube, I’m excited to share a video I made as a Webisode for Paper Wishes. This time, I’m combining Opal Polish with embossing folders, for easy-to-replicate Christmas card designs. You can watch the entire video, which shows this card plus many others!

This design is one of my favorites: Bright, cheerful and so much fun to make!

First, emboss the Holly and Berries Embossing Folder onto white cardstock. Use Yellow Limes Opal Polish to color the de-bossed side. I also spattered Yellow Limes onto black card stock for the bottom portion of the card—simply scoop out a little of the Opal Polish onto a craft sheet, mix with a bit of water and use a small brush to spatter.

The focal elements are from the Festive Collection Denise die, cut from black card stock and layered onto white card that I first colored with Yellow Limes. Add some Thin Line Dazzles, Christmas Greetings Dazzles and Cactus Sparkletz for extra shine. Because of the size and shape of the focal elements, I made my own square card base for this design.
