{Project} Wednesday: Easy Backgrounds with Grunge Paste and Infusions

Create an easy textured background with Grunge Paste and Infusions.

Today on Studio SN on You Tube: Easy Card Backgrounds with Grunge Paste and Infusions (plus Eclectica ESN37 stamps!).

For this technique, I used Grunge Paste through the PS145 stencil, directly onto smooth white card. After letting it dry, I tapped on a small amount of A Bit Jaded Infusions. These are super-concentrated color stains that activate with water. You only need a little bit to get a colorful effect. Mist with water, then let the water activate the color stain. Tilt the cardstock to let the watery color run around and over the raised Grunge Paste circles.

Once dry, you’ve got a textured, colorful background!

For the stamped areas, I misted another piece of smooth white cardstock with water. Then I tapped a bit of the Infusions on top, let the color interact with the water and used a brayer to blend out the color slightly. Blot, then let dry before stamping the fern and the sentiment from the Eclectica ESN37 stamp set with Versafine black ink. it
