Today on Studio SN on You Tube, it’s Fab Foiling with Grunge Paste and WOW! as we’re creating a cool mixed-media background using one of my favorite no-heat foiling techniques.
Fab Foiling with Grunge Paste and WOW! —what you need:
- Grunge Paste: PaperArtsy
- Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylic Paints in Vintage Lace and Koala: PaperArtsy
- Eclectica ESN32 stamp set: PaperArtsy
- Brayer
- Primary Ebony Superfine embossing powder: WOW! Embossing
- Rose Gold Fab Foil: WOW! Embossing
- White, black, cream cardstock
- Craft sheet
- Foam tape
- Black ribbon, sequins
Fab Foiling with Grunge Paste and WOW! —how to do it:
Scoop out Grunge Paste onto the craft sheet and mix with Vintage Lace. Use a palette knife to spread it out evenly, then press white cardstock into the medium. Lift and immediately place a piece of foil into the medium on the cardstock piece. Press, then let dry for about 20 minutes. (Dry time may vary.)
Lift off the foil and trim the piece to size, then mat on black and cream card. Brayer a piece of white card with Koala paint; when dry, layer with the foiled piece and wrap with black ribbon. Glue to the card front, matted on black. Stamp and clear-emboss the heart with wings, cut out and glue to the card front. Stamp a second heart on brayered Koala, cut out and foam tape on top of the first heart. Add a bow and sequins.
