{Project} Wednesday: Layered Flower Stamping with Altenew

Happy Wednesday! Today we’re playing with Altenew‘s layer-able (is that a word?!?) flower stamps. These are so easy to use and give a fabulous dimensional effect without any bulk on your cards.

Layered Flower Stamping, what you need—

Altenew Sentiments & Quotes stamp set

Altenew Four Scoops inkpads: Mango Smoothie, Peach Perfect, Cotton Candy, Dark Chocolate

– Cardstock: Yellow, light yellow, white

– Checked ribbon

– Mini rhinestones

Layered Flower Stamping, how to do it—

1. Refer to the packaging on the Watercolor Wonders stamp set for assistance. This will show you which stamps to use, and how to position them for stamping. In this case, we’re doing the flower at the top:

2. Stamp the large flower first with Mango Smoothie. Stamp the second portion with Peach Perfect. Stamp the third area with Cotton Candy, and the flower center with Dark Chocolate.

3. Trim and mat on light yellow cardstock.

4. Stamp the sentiment with Dark Chocolate on a strip of white cardstock. Mat the top and bottom on light yellow and glue across the bottom of the matted flower. Trim the edges even and glue to the card front.

5. Add rhinestones and a knotted piece of ribbon.

Hope you enjoyed this easy project! It’s a lot of fun to combine with different ink colors, too.

Happy Wednesday!
