Tuesday Tutorial: Altenew Clean & Simple Striped Card

Create clean and simple cards with the Gradient Stripes die from Altenew.

Here’s one more card from the Facebook Live video I did for Altenew earlier this month. If you missed it, you can catch the video on my Facebook page, or just below:

Simple Striped Card with Altenew, what you need—

Simple Striped Card with Altenew, how to make it—

I love this project because it’s such a fun way to use the leftover—or “waste”—of your die-cut frames!

Die cut the Gradient Stripes from blue, yellow and orange card. You can save the outer frames for future projects. Trim light blue cardstock to slightly smaller than your card blank, then position the waste strips as you like. You can use one of the die frames as a guide, or simply eyeball the positioning.

Figure where you want to position the sentiment, then stamp it with black. Glue the strips. Wrap the piece with baker’s twine, then glue to the front of the card.

Die cut the sentiment from black and glue as shown. Tie a bow in baker’s twine and glue as shown.

That’s it… super easy! To see the how-to video, pop by the Facebook page.
