Tuesday Tutorials: Coloring Stamped Images with Altenew Alcohol Markers

If you missed yesterday’s Facebook Live with Altenew, never fear! I’ll share one of my favorite projects with you here. This simple card features an easy stamped focal colored with alcohol markers, plus a soft silhouette-stamped background.

Simple Alcohol Marker Coloring

I love using alcohol markers for coloring stamped images. These alcohol markers from Altenew are bright and vibrant and work together beautifully. One note…please use a sturdy smooth cardstock and a permanent ink for best results. Enjoy!

Congratulations Card with Altenew, how to make it:

Stamp the bouquet and sentiment with black ink onto white cardstock. Color with alcohol markers.

Mount on brown cardstock.

Use gray ink to stamp the silhouette flowers onto white cardstock. Ink the edges with gray and mount onto light yellow and brown cardstock. Glue to the front of a card blank.

Glue the mounted focal to the card front. Tie a bow in baker’s twine and add as shown. Add gemstone stickers as shown.
