Botanical Card Stamp Layering with PaperArtsy

Hi friends! Hoping you’re keeping well, safe and healthy.

I’m going to be tucked up inside for the foreseeable future, so I thought I’d share some card projects with you, and a little video. If you like, you can click on the Facebook Live video, and keep reading to see the project photos. Enjoy!

For this card, I used Mustard Seed Distress ink to stamp the collage leaf from the Eclectica ESN41 stamp set onto Smoothy cardstock, then used black to overstamp with a sentiment from the same set. The postmarks are cut from portions of the collage and foam-taped at the bottom left.

(US friends, you can find the Eclectica stamp set at Frantic Stamper. Those in the UK, try That’s Crafty.)

I also tried the same look with Milled Lavender Distress ink, and really liked it—

Then I made a quick sample with Evergreen Bough. At first I thought it was too dark, and didn’t contrast with the black ink… but now, I like it!

Okay, friends! I hope you enjoyed the inspiration. Take care, stay safe and I’ll post again soon!
