Easy Paint Backgrounds with Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics

Hi friends! Yesterday I shared an easy way to create a soft painty background with Fresco Finish paints.

You can watch the video by clicking here, or below. And keep scrolling to see a closer look at the card.

I started my background by brayering a light layer of Marbles paint, taking care to leave white areas. Then I brayered with Cayenne, which is a beautiful translucent paint; after layering a bit of that, I blended it with a baby wipe. Then some stamping with the Eclectica ESN42 set, and spattering with Snowflake and Slate paints. Easy! The focal is another stamp from the same set, on an oval die-cut piece of Smoothy cardstock.

The stamp set is available at Stamper’s Grove in the UK, and Frantic Stamper in the US.

Enjoy, friends! I’ll be back later this week with a bit more inspiration for you. Take care!
