{Project} Wednesday: Echo Park Adventure Card

Hello and happy Wednesday!

Today I’m really excited to share with you a fabulous new (to me) company: Echo Park. I first got to know them by working with Create and Craft TV, and recently had a chance to demonstrate with their Old World Travel set. If you missed the show, here’s one of the projects I made with their gorgeous collection. This card is super-simple to make and would be a fun birthday card, graduation card or “change in life” card for someone moving or starting a new job.

And paper lovers, you know you are with me on loving beautiful, quality patterned papers and the designs in this collection are top-notch—slightly textured, patterned cardstock with a lovely weight and feel. *swoon*

Echo Park Adventure Card, what you need—

Echo Park Old World Travel Collection Kit (includes patterned cardstock, stamps, washi tape and more)

– Blank white card

– White, black cardstock

– Foam tape

– Black and cream dotted ribbon

– Black inkpad

Echo Park Adventure Card, how to make it—

1. Cut the map cardstock so it’s slightly narrower than the front of the white card blank. Ink the side edges, then glue to the center of the card front. Ink the outside edges of the card front with black.

2. Cut a 6″-long piece of white cardstock exactly the same width as the washi tape and adhere the blue washi tape to it. Mat on black cardstock and glue across the card front.

3. Cut out the Adventure is Out There card focal and mat on white. Ink the edges with black and glue to the card front.

4.  Stamp the postage marks on white cardstock and cut out. (You might have a circle punch that matches, too.) Foam-tape them to overlap the top right corner of the card focal. Tie a knot in the ribbon and glue to the bottom left of the card focal.

That’s it—easy! Have a fabulous Wednesday!
