Resin Papercrafting at Stampers Grove!

Hi friends! Last Sunday I hosted a Facebook Live demo for Stampers Grove, a PaperArtsy retailer in the UK. We had loads of fun exploring the different kinds of papers you can use with Ranger’s ICE Resin, and I demonstrated how easy it is to measure, mix, and coat your papers.

Here’s one of the cards I shared—the center image of the bird is stamped on a white paper napkin, then resin-coated. When dry, I layered it onto a leaf that’s been paint-stamped onto white cardstock.

The bird from Eclectica ESN51 is stamped onto a white paper napkin with StazOn, then coated with resin and set to dry. You can see the difference between the white unresinned napkin and the part that looks wet.
Here’s the leaf from Eclectica ESN50, stamped with PaperArtsy paints onto white Smoothy cardstock.
Layer them together and look how the leaf shines through!
Here’s a closer look.

I love working with resin to create layers and dimension, not just for cardmaking but other papercrafts too. It strengthens sheer or fragile papers: Think tissue paper, napkins—you know, those pretty patterned ones you get at party stores—and rice paper, plus book paper, sheet music and more.

To see how easy it is to use resin to coat your papers, you can pop over to the Stampers Grove page and see the step-by-step demo. And if you’re in the UK, this shop is your source for ICE Resin, which can be tricky to get. Enjoy!
