Foiled Backgrounds with WOW embossing

Foiled Backgrounds with WOW, what you need—

Foiled Backgrounds with WOW, how to make it—

Roll the brayer across the embossing inkpad and across the white cardstock. Sprinkle with bonding powder. Tap off the excess. Heat set.

While the bonding powder is still hot, apply the foil sheet on top with the colored side up. Smooth with your hands and a bone folder or other scoring tool. Let cool. Peel off the excess to reveal the abstract background.

Cover the card front with yellow. Trim patterned paper slightly smaller, then mat on white and glue to the center of the card.

Trim the foiled piece to 3.5″ x 5″ and mat on pink and green. Wrap with pink twine. Layer flowers on top and place a button in the center, then glue as shown. Add rhinestones at the top left.

Stamp “thanks” with black ink on white cardstock. Mat on green and glue as shown.

That’s it! Even better, you can do some amazing effects using any of the foils on bright or black cardstock as well. Just pop by Studio SN on You Tube to see the those examples, plus step-by-step instructions for this project, on the Foiled Backgrounds with WOW! video.
