{Project} Wednesday: You Are Amazing Tag with Maya Road

Happy Wednesday!

This week I’m still using my leftover pieces from the Maya Road Flip Calendar collection that I showed last month on Create and Craft. I love when kits are packed with beautiful coordinating supplies that can be used right to the very last scrap!

Maya Road You Are Amazing Tag, what you need—

– Patterned paper, tags, labels, pearl trim, twine, resin bow: Maya Road Flip Calendar

– 3 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ manila tag

Altenew You Are stamp set

– Black ink

– Foam tape

– Craft glue

Maya Road You Are Amazing Tag, how to make it—

1. Trim the rose patterned paper slightly smaller than the tag front and glue in the center. Glue the embossed “for you” tag on top, aligning the top of the embossed tag with the top edge of the patterned paper.

2. Use foam tape to adhere the center of the butterfly embellishment to the tag front, lifting up the wings.

3. Use craft glue to adhere the pearl trim to the tag front, trimming the ends off at the tag edges. Glue two of the trimmed-off pearls to the butterfly center.

4. Stamp “you are amazing” with black ink on the embossed label. Foam-tape it to the bottom of the tag. Tie twine in the tag top. Glue the resin bow just beneath the hole in the tag.

So simple, right? The embossing and the embellishments really make this easy project look even more special.

Note: I originally showed this collection on Create and Craft television in the US. For more great shows and demos, please tune in by watching it live on TV or online.
