Don’t Quit Your Daydream Double Embossed Card, what you need—

Lotus stamp set (Altenew)

Painted Inspirations stamp set (Altenew)

Rose Gold Embossing powder (Altenew)

Metallic Blue Ultra High embossing powder (WOW Embossing)

Primary Ebony embossing powder (WOW Embossing)

Embossing inkpad (Altenew)

Heat tool

MISTI stamp positioner (My Sweet Petunia)

Cardstock: Black, white, teal

Foam tape

Gold thread

Rhinestone accents

Don’t Quit Your Daydream Double Embossed Card, how to make it—

Place black cardstock on the MISTI. Use embossing ink to stamp the center lotus detail image. Remove from the MISTI and sprinkle with blue embossing powder. Heat set.

Place the cardstock back on the MISTI and position the outline lotus stamp on top, then close the MISTI. You’ll be perfectly positioned to stamp the image directly on top of the first embossed image. Ink with embossing ink and stamp, then sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set.

Cut out the double-embossed image. (There is also a Lotus die set if you prefer!) Stamp and black-emboss the sentiment on white cardstock, then mount on teal and black card. Use foam tape to adhere the lotus to the cardstock. Wrap with gold embroidery thread as shown. Add a bow and rhinestones, then glue to the card front.

That’s it—simple! This technique is also great for just about any of the Altenew layering stamps, and any combo of embossing powders. Enjoy!
